As a follow-on engagement to the 2017 Fire Station Distribution Study Citygate performed for the Kings County Fire Department, Citygate performed ad hoc station location services for the Department related to the relocation of one or more fire stations. This included providing advice relative to fire and emergency medical services provided by the Department and response travel time analysis for the prospective fire station(s) relocation.

Citygate conducted a fire station distribution study for the Kings County Fire Department. The goal of this study was to identify and evaluate potential alternate fire station sites as they impact overall Department deployment and response performance as a foundation for future capital facility planning.

Citygate completed an impact analysis of the California high-speed rail project for the Kings County Fire Department. This project specifically related to overall fire department deployment, response performance, and operations, including potential impacts related to the proposed railway route through a portion of the existing Kings County Fire Station #4 site.

Citygate conducted a Standards of Coverage and staffing study, intended by the County as a foundation for future planning and resource allocation. Citygate reviewed projected growth, service delivery system alternatives, resources, deployment, operations, values at risk, and operational support systems.
