Citygate completed a Standards of Coverage study for the areas of the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District, the Modesto Regional Fire Authority, the City of Oakdale, the Oakdale Rural Fire Protection District, the unattached service area known as Division 1 North, and the City of Ceres. Our work included a review of the adequacy of current fire station locations, a review of response times using National Fire Protection Association Standard 1710 as the recommended standard based upon available dispatch and fire incident records information, guidance for any identified location/relocation of fire station(s) to provide long-range service delivery, evaluations of current mutual/automatic-aid agreements and their effectiveness, and an analysis of alternative deployment plans where they fit the partners’ needs.
