Citygate completed a fire department diagnostic evaluation for the City of Soledad, California, with a survey of potential fire service delivery alternatives and revenue sources to help the City plan for future growth. Citygate conducted an update study that included a document review covering budget, performance measures, staffing levels, and capital investments. Citygate also conducted a station assessment and reviewed records and conducted interviews. The purpose of the update study was to assess how the City responded to Citygate’s recommendations. Citygate found that the Department’s ISO rating improved from a 6 to a 4 and response times to incidents greatly decreased.
Citygate completed a Standards of Coverage assessment for the City of Soledad, California, which included an analysis of response times, station coverage, and overall level of emergency services provided to the community.
