Citygate assisted Michael Brandman Associates and the City of Atascadero with a fire service adequacy review for a development project. Citygate reviewed the City and Fire Department data and conducted interviews; conducted an independent evaluation of the development Master Plan proposal, including response and equipment impacts on the Fire Department; conducted a fire response review, including fire-due and First Alarm responses; reviewed the cumulative effect on the development area and surrounding areas; ensured California Fire Code compliance; provided opinions on best-practice fire protection services related to fire prevention practices; examined fire codes, wildland urban interface mitigation plan needs, emergency medical services delivery, and mitigations; and provided a staff-level summary written report.
