The Bay Area Urban Area Security Initiative contracted Citygate to present 30 Incident Command System courses over a nine-month period. All courses were sanctioned by the Office of State Fire Marshal and utilized the National Wildfire Coordinating Group curriculum. Five of the courses were cancelled due to low enrollments. The courses covered most of the command and general staff positions, and subordinate unit level positions as well. The Department of Homeland Security funded this project, and the project met Office of Domestic Preparedness approval.
