In a supplemental contract in 2009, the Bay Area Urban Area Security Initiative contracted Citygate to present two command and general staff courses in November. Both courses were sanctioned by the Office of State Fire Marshal and utilized the National Wildfire Coordinating Group curriculum. The Department of Homeland Security funded this project, and the project met Office of Domestic Preparedness approval. Approximately 70 students attended this training. The feedback from the students was also overwhelmingly positive.
