Project:
Citygate completed an Emergency Services Master Plan for the City of Mont Belvieu, Texas, complete with a Standards of Coverage study and a staffing utilization review of the current Emergency Services headquarters staff and provided services to determine the headquarters team’s ability to sustain best practices and regulations regarding safe provision of fire services and prevention programs.

Project:
Citygate conducted a Standards of Coverage and headquarters services assessment for the Fire Department in the City of Milpitas, California. The SOC analysis utilized a systems-based approach using local risk and demographics to determine the level of protection best fitting the Department’s needs, and the headquarters services assessment reviewed the Department’s cost of fire and EMS operations from a high level.

Project:
Citygate conducted a Standards of Coverage plan for the City of Woodland, California, building upon a previous fire station location analysis we performed. In addition, we also reviewed the Fire Department headquarters staff and functions to determine the ability of the headquarters team to sustain best practices and regulations regarding the safe provision of fire services and prevention programs.

Citygate completed an emergency command and data center staffing study to enable the City of San Diego Fire-Rescue Department to create a blueprint for a new command center while efficiently planning for the long-term growth of the center and being mindful of the future costs of repairs, upgrades, or expansion. Citygate partnered with COAR Design Group (formerly Jeff Katz Architecture), a nationally acclaimed public safety design firm.

Project:
Citygate conducted a Standards of Coverage study and Master Plan for the City of South San Francisco Fire Department, which included a performance evaluation of fire protection, rescue, emergency medical service, and ambulance transportation, as well as a management and staffing analysis.

Clark County Fire District 6, WA
Project:
Citygate completed a deployment analysis and Master Plan for Clark County Fire District 6 in the State of Washington. This review of the District’s fire and emergency medical services response system also included an evaluation of the District’s administrative/support organization.

Central Fire Protection District of Santa Cruz County, CA
Project:
Citygate completed a Standards of Coverage (SOC) and management administrative assessment for the Central Fire Protection District of Santa Cruz County. This study was based on nationally recognized guidelines and best practices, federal and state mandates, and pertinent local and regional operating procedures. This study included a community risk assessment as part of an in-depth SOC, as well as assessments of each of the Department’s divisions, including administration, operations, fire prevention, training, EMS, and fleet maintenance.

Project:
Citygate updated the City’s deployment model, as well as completed a management staffing assessment and assisted the Fire Department’s effort to prepare a Strategic Plan. Citygate’s study addressed all facets of fire and non-fire operations, including, but not limited to, fire suppression, emergency medical, paramedic ambulance transport, technical and heavy rescue, fire prevention, and public education to a predominately suburban community approaching build-out, but with some remaining rural and agrarian areas.

Project:
Citygate provided a fire services organizational design review for Yuba City, with the goal of assessing the Fire Department’s management team design, challenges, and upcoming opportunities. The goal of this project was to provide the City with independent subject matter expertise and feedback regarding the structure of the Fire Department management team in the City and its abilities to meet regulations and best practices in a city the size of Yuba City.

Project:
Citygate completed a comprehensive services delivery and staffing review of the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department. This study addressed all facets of field, command, and support operations, including, but not limited to: Enforcement Operations (patrol), Corrections Operations (jail), Administration, Investigations, Internal Affairs, professional standards, training, records, support services, civil services, coroner services, and other specialty services.
